Los Dos Molinos, a popular Mexican restaurant beloved by aficionados of truly hot and spicy food, was established by chef/owner Victoria Chavez in Phoenix over 30 years ago. Victoria's daughter Cheryl now oversees operations at the original branch of the family-owned business, located in a stucco hacienda formerly owned by cowboy star Tom Mix.
"My mother developed our menus and, as she says, 'I just don't know how to make mild.' When our customers are enjoying our five-alarm food, they really go for our famous margaritas and beer -- and lots of it -- so our bar is always outrageously busy," Chavez noted.
"When we had the chance to replace some bar refrigeration equipment in early 2007, we knew that nothing but Victory would do because we've been very satisfied with the performance of the Victory equipment we had installed in the past," she added. "We were happy with the compact footprint of the new Victory 60" glass-door beer cooler, as well as the quality of the Victory glass-door refrigerator we put in our bar area. The quality and durability of these pieces is really great -- they are constantly being slammed open and closed and we have not had to make one repair call on the newly installed equipment, even throughout a hot Phoenix summer.
"Believe me, diners want cold beer with their hot food, and we want to keep our loyal customers coming back to Los Dos Molinos," Chavez pointed out. "The reliable performance of our Victory equipment gives me one less thing to worry about while running in a hectic restaurant."
